The video biography is one of the finest uses of the medium! What better way exists to capture the person history of an important person in your family or organization.
Our biography production service begins with a research and planning stage to outline the main points of the production, gather supporting materials including photographs, documents, objects, film and video clips, and associated historical information. In consultation with you, we plan for important interviews with the primary subject and others giving supporting or illuminating information. The interviews are conducted to keep subjects at ease.
Once this is complete, our editing/post-production integrates all resources and present it in a finished way that is both factual and captivating, making best use of screen time and program flow.
Release form is in both traditional standard definition DVD and computer-based high-definition format, such as Windows Media Video HD.
This is a highly-individualized form of production, so it is not possible to give package quotes without knowing more particulars. We work on one of three contractual arrangements, all involving a retainer fee to start the work:
- Project is well defined and agreed in advance, and a fixed up-front price is determined. The project may not be changed once started unless a new agreement is made.
- Project will evolve and develop was work progresses and billing will be on a labor and expenses basis, but a ceiling based on an ending estimate is determined in advance and client must approve going beyond that ceiling.
- Project will evolve and develop, and no up front ceiling is determined. This provides the maximum flexibility for creative work.
